Code of Conduct

The NewVaConnects Code of Conduct is a voluntary code of conduct that you are asked to follow to build relationships and create a positive association with the NewVaConnects organization. Members of NewVaConnects will:
  1. Uphold the mission of enhancing the quality of life for young professionals in the region;
  2. Always respect the dignity, worth, and uniqueness of each individual and respect culture and custom;
  3. Act in a lawful and professional manner when attending NewVaConnects sponsored events;
  4. Use personal information to network in a professional, not harassing,  manner;
  5. Not represent individual views or opinions as the views or opinions of the NewVaConnects organization;
  6. Not use membership in order to gain advantage contrary to the mission of NewVaConnects;
  7. Not use the NewVaConnects name or logo without written permission from the NewVaConnects Board of Directors.
  8. Not accept monetary compensation on behalf of NewVaConnects;
  9. Not maliciously or recklessly injure the professional reputation of another person, or the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce.
